According to preliminary calculations, REpower Systems AG achieved a total performance of € 240.9 million from 1 April to 30 June 2008, compared to € 105.5 million in the corresponding period of the previous year (1 April 2007 to 30 June 2007).

In the same period, the company installed and recognised in income 138 wind energy turbines with a total output of 276MW. The operating result (EBIT) significantly increased in the reporting period from € 0.1 million to € 10.2 million. The order book contained purchase agreements for 718 wind energy turbines with a total rated power of 1,522.6MW at the end of June 2008. This corresponds to a contractually confirmed order volume of € 1.6 billion. Due to the seasonality of the business, REpower Systems AG changed its financial year, formerly equal to the calendar year, to the period from 1 April to 31 March. The announcement of the final financial figures and of the complete quarterly report will take place on 14 August 2008.
