Vestas has received an order for 44 wind turbines to be delivered to a wind power project in the USA.

The order comprises the supply and commissioning of the turbines and a five-year service and maintenance agreement. Delivery of the turbines is scheduled to begin in the first half of 2009 with commissioning planned for the second half of 2010. At the customer's request, details about project ownership, exact location, etc.cannot be disclosed.
