Vestas has received a 66MW order consisting of 31 units of the V90-2.0MW turbine and 5 units of the V52-850 kW turbine for the Trapani Salemi project to be installed in Sicily, Italy.

The order comprises supply and installation, a VestasOnline Business SCADA system as well as a five-year service agreement. The order has been placed by WINDCO Spa, a project company belonging to Electrabel of the SUEZ Group. Delivery of the project is scheduled to start in December 2008, and the project will be completed by October 2009.
