Bertrand Durrande, member of the supervisory board of REpower Systems AG has notified his resignation of the supervisory committee with effect from 25 June 2008.

Mr. Durrande has been appointed member of the supervisory board since 5 January 2006 and held the position as chairman until 21 June 2007. His resignation is linked to the sale of AREVA's equity stake in REpower to Suzlon that took place 6 June 2008.
