WindLogics expands services Print E-mail
Friday, 30 May 2008
WindLogics has announced that the company has expanded its services to the wind power industry.

The company's offerings now include a new Viewpoint Discovery Study for preliminary site evaluation and Visionpoint Operational Assessment for wind plant performance review. The Discovery Study is a customized analysis that provides an initial examination of local terrain, meteorology, and wind characteristics, along with long-term wind analysis. The study integrates both existing customer-provided information and publicly available wind data to quickly deliver a report tailored to project needs. On the other side of the wind project continuum, the Visionpoint Operational Assessment provides a detailed analysis of wind variability as a component of wind plant performance for a specific period of time. Employing short-term meteorological data, long-term weather archives and regional METAR data, the analysis thoroughly examines wind variability and its impact on capacity factor and power production.
