Since April 2008 Torsten Muuß is the new global technical manager, Wind Energy of SGS Industrial Services.

As a key position in the SGS Industrial Services team for development and to build out of services for wind energy services, Torsten Muuß will have SGS' overall global responsibility for ensuring that SGS Wind Energy Services are carried out in a harmonised way and in accordance with the technical requirements of the wind industry. Torsten Muuß has been in the wind business for nearly 10 years. His experience is based on employments at wind turbine manufactures as well as a certification body. Torsten Muuß knowledge is taken from the position as team leader of inspection department, examination of machinery components, safety, operation systems and condition monitoring systems, Due Diligences as well as from be involved in the development of wind turbines.
