Renewable Energy Systems (RES) Americas Inc. of Austin, Texas has signed agreements exceeding US$ 700 million to receive GE Energy 1.5MW wind turbines for projects in 2009 and 2010. GE Energy will supply RES with nearly 500MW of new wind energy capacity, and will provide commissioning and operations services as well as maintenance support.
