REpower Systems AG and Electrabel (SUEZ Group) have signed an agreement under which Electrabel promises to order a maximum of 250 REpower wind energy turbines with a total capacity of up to 500MW.

The turbines are of the REpower MM82 and MM92 class with 2MW each and hub heights of 80 and 100 meters and will be delivered in the period from 2009 to 2011 for the construction of wind farms in Europe.
