Siemens to build wind farm in France Print E-mail

Siemens Energy has received an order from the wind project developer Eolfi for a wind farm in France, to be located 30 kilometers north of Troyes.

With a total capacity of 41MW "Les Grandes Chapelles" wind farm will be the largest wind project Siemens has ever installed in France. The 18 Siemens wind turbines with a capacity of 2.3MW each are scheduled to be put into service in February 2009. In addition to the supply and erection of the wind turbines, a five-year service agreement is also part of the contract.
