Nordic Windpower Ltd., a designer and manufacturer of two-bladed utility-scale wind turbines, announces that it has appointed Dr. Charles R Gamble as Chief Technology Officer with immediate effect.

Dr Gamble will be based at Nordic's international research and engineering centre in Bristol, UK and will spearhead Nordic's engineering team for the development of a new generation of utility-scale wind turbines. He will also be acting as Managing Director for Nordic's Swedish Branch based in Stockholm. Dr Gamble brings more than 15 years' technology experience in the wind energy sector. Dr Gamble previously spent five years at Garrad Hassan and Partners Ltd. Prior to Garrad Hassan, he undertook a number of senior roles in wind energy and power generation businesses.
