Gamesa Energy USA has announced the appointment of Glenn E. Smith as Vice President.

In this role Smith will oversee 50 engineering, construction, technical and project development employees throughout the Gamesa facilities in the United States. Smith began his career as a structural engineer and then shifted his focus to financial analysis of projects in the independent power business and later to power project financings, where his experience included lending, equity investments, and providing financial advisory services to project developers.
