REpower agrees upon projects of about 306MW in Europe Print E-mail

REpower Systems AG has concluded contracts to deliver wind energy turbines for projects in Europe with a total output of 306MW.

After delivery contracts about 41 turbines of the 2MW class have successfully come into effect, belonging to a first framework agreement with the project developer Eolfi, a second framework agreement about the delivery of a total of 84 wind energy turbines (MM92 type, total rated power 168 MW) with the same client in France has just been concluded for various projects. The delivery period is from 2009 to 2010. For the UK client Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE), a reservation agreement for 69 turbines has been concluded. The delivery of wind energy turbines of the REpower MM82 type for various wind farms in Scotland is planned during the period from the end of 2008 until the first quarter of 2010. The REpower MM series comprises turbines with a rated power of 2MW each.
