Welwind Energy International Corp. has announced that the Guangdong Power Grid Corporation has signed a "wind farm grid connection intent agreement" with Welwind after reviewing the Project Feasibility Study Report and The Grid Connection Report.

Both reports were independently produced by the Guangdong Electric Power Design Institute. Officials from Welwind will be leaving for China at the end of this week to finalize and execute the Power Purchase Agreement with the Guangdong Power Grid Corporation
