Gamesa's sales grew by 67% in the first half of 2007 Print E-mail

Gamesa has reported its results for the first half of 2007. Turnover continued its upward trend to reach €1.496 billion, 67% higher than the figure reported for the first half of 2006.

EBITDA reached €177 million, 20% more when compared to the first half of last year. Net profits amounted to €63 million, identical to the figure obtained up to June 2006, excluding extraordinary results. The wind turbine manufacturing unit installed 1,015 MW, a 24% increase on the first half of 2006, and sales reached €1.247 billion. Both the US and China drove this increase, respectively representing a cumulative 17% and 9% of the total MW installed.
