Due to recent speculations in the market, REpower Systems AG informs that the company currently is in advanced negotiations about orders with a total volume of up to 1,500MW.

Those concern several framework and individual contracts for projects in the European foreign countries and in the USA, which should be realized in the years 2008 until 2010. REpower is aiming to complete the negotiations in this quarter. Furthermore, REpower Systems AG expects the award of the second phase of a tender of the Portuguese government with a volume of 400MW to 600MW in the next weeks. The management board intends to adjust the sales forecast for the fiscal year 2008 and, based on the increased planning security, to provide a first forecast for the fiscal years 2009 and 2010.
