Clipper Windpower Plc has announced that it will supply ten units, or 25MW of Clipper's 2.5MW Liberty wind turbines to Minnesota Power for the first utility-scale wind energy project to be built in Northern Minnesota.

With wind turbine delivery expected in 2007, in addition to turbine supply, Clipper will provide installation supervision, and operation and maintenance services. The wind turbines will be built at Clipper's manufacturing facility in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
