Nordex enters Turkish market Print E-mail
Wednesday, 04 April 2007
Nordex AG has entered the Turkish market. Up until the end of March 2008 it will be assembling 17 N90/2500 HS (high speed) turbines with 80 meters hub height near Bergama.

To date, mostly only fairly small wind farms have been constructed in Turkey. With an installed output of 42.5 MW, the "Yuntdag" project will be playing a key role in the country. The customer and ultimate operator of the wind farm is Turkish company İnnores Enerji Üretim Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. İnnores is a 100% affiliate of DOST Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S that is established by MV Holding, Portmobil Telecommunications and RDO Investment to invest in renewable energy in the region. This project is DOST Enerji's first project of a medium term 300 MW installed capacity target.
