Massachusetts Secretary of the Executive Office of Environmental Affairs Ian Bowles issued a Determination of Adequacy on Cape Wind's Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR).

The FEIR responded to information requests that were part of the Certificate on the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) and it also included responses to all other comments submitted on the DEIR. The Cape Wind Project was the first offshore wind energy project proposed in the United States and it is now the first such project to have a certified final environmental impact document.
