In stock exchange announcement of 5 April 2006, Vestas Wind Systems A/S informed that Mr Aloys Wobben from Enercon had initiated court proceedings in England and Scotland regarding patents related to the connection to the grid.

Mr Aloys Wobben has now also initiated court proceedings regarding some of these patents in the Netherlands. The management of Vestas Wind Systems A/S' assessment of the case remains the same. For the time being there is no basis for providing further comments on the matter.
