Vestas has received an order in the USA for 88 units of V82-1.65MW wind turbines for the Blue Sky Green Field project in the state of Wisconsin.

The order has been placed by We Energies. We Energies is the trade name of Wisconsin Electric Power Co. and Wisconsin Gas LLC, the principal utility subsidiaries of Wisconsin Energy Corporation. Delivery of the turbines will commence in the fourth quarter of 2007. Vestas will supply and commission the 88 wind turbines, and the order also includes a two-year maintenance and service agreement.
