SED joins with Northern Power Systems Print E-mail
Wednesday, 07 March 2007

Sustainable Energy Developments, Inc. (SED), a wind power project developer in Upstate NY, and Northern Power Systems (NPS), a wind turbine manufacturer in Vermont, will provide customers with the NorthWind100 turbines from NPS to power their small business, farm, school or municipal project with environmentally friendly wind energy.

The NorthWind100 is a 100kW wind turbine that has been engineered to provide on-site power generation. This wind turbine builds upon the company's experience in harsh, off-grid wind power applications and recognised expertise in distributed, grid-tied power generation. The design lends itself to all-weather maintenance, lower operating costs and seamless connection to the North American electric grid. The venture between SED and NPS will begin this month.
