REpower supplies ten MM82 for Japanese wind farm Print E-mail

REpower Systems AG has signed a contract for the delivery of ten wind turbines of the MM82 type to the Japanese prefecture Hyogo on the island of Honshu.

In addition, there is an option on two further turbines. Project developer is Kanden Energy Development and the client Kajima Corporation. The ten MM82 nacelles will be manufactured in Germany and shipped to Japan. The towers will be fabricated according to guidelines in Korea, supervised by REpower's Japanese sales partner Meidensha Corporation (MEIDEN). The beginning of the installation is scheduled for the end of 2007, completion is planned for the first half-year of 2008.
