Vestas receives order for wind turbines for Asturias, Spain Print E-mail

Vestas Eólica has received an order for 22 units of the V90-2.0MW wind turbine for the project Sierra de Tineo in Asturias, Spain.

The order comprises supply, installation, commissioning, VestasOnline Business SCADA system as well as a service contract for 5 years. The order has been placed by the developer Northeolic Sierra de Tineo, S.L., which is jointly owned by the largest Danish energy company, Dong Energy (75%) and the Spanish renewable energy development group, Northeolic SA (25%). Delivery is scheduled to begin in March 2008, and the project will be completed by the end of 2008.
