Composite Technology Corporation (CTC) has announced the addition of Kevin Smith as Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Smith previously held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with Edison Mission Energy (EME), a subsidiary of Edison International. During his tenure at EME, Mr. Smith took on increasing responsibilities while the company grew from 30 to 3,000 employees. During his six years as CFO for EME, the company owned power generation assets in 10 countries and reported revenues in excess of US$2 billion.
