LUST is a young, innovative company that has been active in the development of the wind energy market from the outset. The first leading manufacturers of wind turbines were already relying on LUST’s expertise in 1996. In the years since then, the individual drive elements have been continually further developed, with the component supplier becoming a system supplier for pitch systems. As early as 1998, LUST supplied drives with synchronous motors for wind turbines up to 600kW. In February 2000, what was at the time the world’s largest series wind turbine (2.5MW) was equipped by LUST. And both of the world’s largest series wind turbines (5MW), which came on-line during 2005, are fitted with LUST pitch systems.
