Vestas has received an order for the delivery of 116 V52-850 kW wind turbines  for China Guangdong Nuclear Wind Power Co. Ltd.

AREVA's Transmission and Distribution division (T&D) has secured a contract worth approximately € 60 million with StatoilHydro.

Romax Technology Ltd signed a new contract with Shenyang Blower Works Group Co. Ltd. (SBW) to provide design and development support for DF2000 2MW wind turbine gearboxes.

REpower Systems AG has completed the assembly of the first three REpower 6M turbines in Bremerhaven. The wind turbines, which each have a rated output of 6MW, are expected to be erected at the Westre civic wind farm on the German-Danish border the beginning of 2009.
