Ampair completes Westwind acquisition

Ampair has completed its acquisition of Westwind, the Belfast-based wind turbine manufacturer.

 

With the acquisition Ampair offers a selection of wind turbines from 100W through to 20kW. These turbines are typically used on locations ranging from yachts to powering farms and houses. Ampair will continue to operate out of both its Dorset factory and also the former Westwind works in Antrim with minimal changes to staff.
