Low Carbon has recently invested in three ZX 300 Lidars to support their expanding onshore wind development portfolio in Scotland. Contracting wind resource assessment specialist ZX Measurement Services, the data derived from the ZX 300 Lidars will allow for early assessment of viability and suitability for wind development, and to inform site layout design and turbine geometry right from the outset of Low Carbon’s development programme. ZX 300 is the everyday Lidar that simply goes everywhere, with deployments in more than 90 countries globally, operating in extreme environments, simple and complex terrain, and in clear air, all with its survive-in-field attitude.
